Hi, I'm Ashley - founder, owner, and the heart behind Ivey's Dessert Bar. I've been baking since I was 17, but this bakery was born from the most tender chapter of my life. In 2022, while pregnant and home with my other kiddos, I stepped away from my career as an automotive technician. Then, just two days before her due date, we lost our daughter, Ivey.
Ivey's Dessert Bar is how I honor her - pouring all my love into every single treat so her name keeps spreading sweetness. As a mama of seven, I built this bakery around my own family: lactation treats because nursing was one of the hardest, most stressful parts of motherhood for me, and dog treats for my fur babies who are family too.
Every treat is my own twist on old fashioned recipes, made to order, and can be made allergy-friendly when you need it. My hope is that you walk away with a happy experience unlike any other bakery - proudly serving Houston and surrounding areas.

New moms pour everything into their littles — so Ivey bakes something sweet that pours back. Our lactation treats are made with brewer’s yeast, oats and flax, folded into the same soft, buttery cookies and brownies you already love.

Every sweet tooth deserves a treat — even the furry ones. The pup menu is a little line of dog-safe treats, baked with simple, good-for-pups ingredients like peanut butter, oats, pumpkin and banana. No chocolate, no xylitol, no funny business.
Perfect for birthdays, gotcha days, or just because your dog supervised the baking and feels entitled to a cut.
